IMPACT has crowned a Homecoming King and Queen for the very first time.

On July 31, IMPACT Homecoming featured an eight-team mixed tag-team tournament to crown a King and Queen. The finals featured a showdown between Decay's Crazzy Steve and Rosemary, and Deonna Purrazzo and the debuting Drama King, Matthew Rehwoldt.

After a back-and-forth encounter, Purrazzo was able to hit Rosemary with The Queen's Gambit to earn the victory. She and Rehwoldt were then presented with crowns by Gia Miller. After placing them in each others' heads, the winners took a celebratory bow.

Rehwoldt and Purrazzo defeated Alisha and Hernandez in the first round before topping Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green in the semi-finals. Decay's route to the finals began with Fallah Bahh and Tasha Steelz before continuing onto Tommy Dreamer and Rachael Ellering.
