Mauro Ranallo Teases Return To Pro Wrestling Announcing, Takes Small Shot At WWE

Mauro Ranallo has had a rough road in professional wrestling of late, but it seems like that hasn't dissuaded him from calling action.

Ranallo isn't exactly hurting for worked. The announcer called the action for this weekend's Rizin FF 5 show, and will also be in the booth for Showtime boxing. According to a recent tweet, Ranallo seems poised to return to wrestling eventually as well.

Reports have emerged that WWE is trying to work on a settlement to prevent Ranallo from speaking out about what led to his exit from the Smackdown Live announcer's booth. Ranallo has also called action for NJPW on AXS.

During the broadcast of Rizin FF 5 this weekend, Mauro took a little shot at WWE's lingo, saying it felt good to be able to call people "professional wrestlers" again.
