Maven Regrets Never Working With Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Or Kevin Nash During His Time In WWE

Maven regrets never working with any of the original members of the New World Order during his time in WWE.

Maven had the good fortune of being a WWE Superstar during a time when many of the most legendary wrestlers of all time were in their prime, building their legacy, or returning to WWE.

Just as Maven was beginning to make a name for himself in WWE, the New World Order's Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash returned to the company at WWE No Way Out 2002. During one of his recent YouTube videos, Maven listed never getting to work with any of the original nWo members as one of his top regrets as a WWE Superstar.

"If you're not familiar with the term mark, a mark is a wrestling fan. All of us are marks in some way, and as a mark, as a fan, we have people that we maybe watched, maybe were fans of, maybe idolized, maybe even looked up to," he began. "Now, I've talked about my very first interaction with Hulk Hogan, and I still to this day, see Kevin Nash at signings. I go back and I think of my very first time meeting Scott Hall/Razor Ramon, and remembering just how in awe I was, thinking, 'Man, this is pretty cool.' Unfortunately, you know, creative never saw fit to have our paths crossed. As Father Time wins, as he defeats us all you realize, 'I'm never gonna have that opportunity to get in the ring with Hogan, with Kevin Nash, and obviously, we've lost Scott.' So definitely one of the regrets, not being able to work with legendary guys like Hogan, Nash, and Scott Hall."

While he never got to wrestle any of the original members of the nWo, Maven was fortunate enough to work a short program with Undertaker following his upset elimination of "Big Evil" in the 2002 Royal Rumble Match. Learn more about that iconic moment of the WWE Ruthless Aggression Era here.

Maven also had the opportunity to wrestle Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Read Maven's comments on the night that he got to wrestle Triple H at this link.
