Maven Says At Least Five Wrestlers Reached Out And Thanked Him After His Comments On Triple H
Maven expands on his recent comments regarding Triple H.
Back in August, Maven made some headlines while reviewing WWE: Unreal on Netflix, saying that nobody trusted Triple H in the locker room except for Shawn Michaels.
Appearing on a recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show, Maven revealed that at least five different wrestlers reached out to him and thanked him for his comments on ‘The Game.’
“I’m not going to say who, but I had at least five wrestlers reach out to me and thank me for what I said. Non-active [wrestlers].”
Maven continued on, still crediting Triple H for having an intelligent mind when it comes to the world of wrestling.
“Everybody knew backstage — I didn’t mean to break news or whatever, but people knew Hunter and what he was positioning himself for, which is what he’s got now. But, I don’t want to act like he didn’t deserve it or he didn’t earn it. He does. You’re never going to find a better or more intelligent mind when it comes to professional wrestling than Triple H. He’s earned every right that he has. But, if people want to act like guys backstage felt different, okay, that’s their opinion. I see it differently.”
