Maven Says WWE Forced Everyone To Attend Triple H’s Bachelor Party, ‘Triple H Showed Up 20 Minutes Before Closing’
Triple H married Stephanie McMahon in 2003 after the two had kindled an on-screen relationship that bled into their real lives.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Maven explained why he disliked Triple H, noting that many questioned his push in relation to his relationship with Stephanie, and gave an anecdotal story about Triple H’s bachelor party.
“I remember when he and Steph were about to get married, the company actually forced us to go to his Bachelor Party. We would fy in on Friday, wrestle three non-televised house shows, do Raw on Monday, and then fly home on Tuesday. The company decided to have the Bachelor Party on a Tuesday night in a North Carolina strip club, and they conveniently made sure our flights were for Wednesday. We had to go. I can’t remember anyone not showing. Guys didn’t want to be the one who didn’t show up for the bachelor party. Actually, there was one guy who didn’t show up. Who would that be? Triple H himself. We were in the club the entire night and he would show up the last 20 minutes before closing time,” he said.
He said he doesn’t know how many people would have actually shown up if there were invites.
