Max Caster: The Ass Boys Used The Acclaimed For TV Time, They Won't Be On TV Anymore When We're Done

On the July 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, the alliance between The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) and The Gunn Club (Austin & Colten Gunn) was broken when the Gunn Club turned on the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn sided with his sons.

The Acclaimed and the Gunn Club became one of the most popular groups during their brief run together while Bowens was sidelined with a knee injury thanks to Caster's pre-match raps, the Gunn Club forgetting the name of the town, and the scissoring between Bowens and Billy.

Speaking to Soundsphere, Caster commented on the turn.

“The track is DONE. The song is called ‘Trash Day’ because we are gonna take out the trash when we get our hands on The Ass Boys there. I am not psyched with how that all turned out. They got a big head and used us for the TV time that we earned ourselves. Together, The Acclaimed and The Gunns were arguably the hottest thing in AEW, we were pushing ourselves to the top. They got selfish. We got them over. When we are done, I am pretty sure they are not gonna be on TV anymore," said Caster.

The Acclaimed previously recorded a diss track aimed at Darby Allin & Sting called "Goth Phase" to go along with Caster's weekly pre-match raps.
