When LA Knight initially was called up to the WWE main roster, it was as a manager in the faction known as Maxximum Male Models, soon followed by his sister Maxxine. Shortly after, Max would return to his LA Knight character, splitting from the faction.

While speaking to the Battleground podcast, Maxxine Dupri was asked about the lack of acknowledgement from her brother, LA Knight.

“Listen, if he doesn’t start acknowledging his sister, we’re going to have some major beef, okay? Like I said, I had a title match. This is someone who is truly one of the greats, and he did not help me prep. He did not send his sister a good luck text, and maybe now he should text me for some advice, and I will offer him some. But our mom misses him. We miss him at the family reunions. I’m just waiting for him to welcome me back with open arms. I understand for a while why he didn’t want to be associated. But I feel like I’ve proven myself. And I feel like he should welcome back his little sister.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Maxxine spoke about feeling like she was ‘swimming upstream’ prior to winning the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. You can read more about that here.
