Maya World Says She’s Rewatched Her Match With Mercedes Mone ‘A Lot Of Times’
Maya World nearly shocked the wrestling world at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door when she took Mercedes Mone to the limit in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
The match drew praise from the wrestling world and has been rewatched by many fans, but not everyone.

“Somebody has to [laughs]. Yeah, many, many times. I tried not to at first, I wanted to stay in the moment. I had a few things happen and I wanted to remember it for what it was, which was a great match and a great feeling after, but I definitely have rewatched it a lot of times,” she said while speaking at the AEW Redemption press conference.
Maya World won the AEW TBS Championship at Redemption, defeating Hikaru Shida.
