Megan Bayne Initially Felt Like ‘Megasus’ Nickname Was Stupid: “It Just Grew On Me”
Originally, she was not a fan of the nickname.
Joining Highspots for a Sign-it-Live session was All Elite Wrestling’s Megan Bayne. Her ‘Megasus’ nickname was brought up. She stated that initially, when someone threw the idea out there, she was not a fan of it, but then it grew on her.
“She was like, ‘You look like a Pegasus. You should be the Megasus,’ and I remember for the first few days I was like, ‘That’s so stupid.’ Then it just grew on me.”
Bayne is scheduled to compete in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament.
Her partner, Penelope Ford, is out of action indefinitely after tearing her UCL. Filling in to team with Bayne in the tournament is the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir. They are facing TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay) in the first round.
