On the latest edition of WWE's The Bump, Braxton announced that the show would be her final episode as the host. She announced that Megan Morant as the new host. Braxton then stated that she would still be contributing to The Bump as a correspondent.

“Being a WWE announcer for nearly seven years, there’s been a lot of growth and a lot of change, all for the good. So I’m really excited to tell you this will be my final day as the host of WWE’s The Bump. I’m not leaving the show. I’m still gonna be doing some cool content that will be rolling into the show every single week. But in the meantime, I’m very pleased to tell you that Megan Morant will be filling my spot. We know she will do that in a phenomenal way. She’s already been on the show multiple times. She’s already been showing her presence and her big personality and her skill set here. So we’re really excited that you’re gonna be the one to handle Matt Camp and Ryan Pappolla every single week. I’m gonna be wishing you the best. But seriously, 240 episodes, I was really honored to get to come on here on the ground floor and be a part of growing this thing into what it is today. I know it’s only gonna grow every further. But of all your support every single week has meant the absolute world. I’m not going away, okay, I just won’t be sitting in this chair anymore. Megan, listen, you are so deserving. I know you’re gonna do an incredible job. Congratulations," Braxton said.

Morant commented on the news by thanking Braxton and highlighting her role in helping The Bump growing into what it has become. She told Braxton that she made every single person who worked on The Bump better. Braxton also made it clear that she appreciated the way Braxton supports others.

"Kayla, I am, first of all, so honored to be sitting in this chair. This show is so incredibly special, and you’re a big part of that. You are the reason this show has made it 240 episodes. You are the reason I even got on the show in the first place. I was in Stamford for a community event, and you said, ‘You better stay for The Bump.’ There’s not a lot of people, especially when it comes to women, who support each other, and you do that. You lift everybody up, you make every room you walk into a little bit brighter. They always say, ‘Leave things better than you found them,’ and you’ve made us all better here on The Bump, every single person," Morant said.

Matt Camp, another key member of The Bump team, thanked Braxton, who then teared up, and said he would miss her.

Braxton subsequently took to social media and stated that she is not leaving WWE.

In June, WWE announced that Morant's WWE role would be expanding, as she took over as the host of Raw Talk and SmackDown LowDown, along with various digital shows. The announcement noted that Morant would be taking on an expanded full-time role at WWE's Stamford studios.
