The commentators as well as the fans praised Meiko for her performance in the M.Y.C. and Meiko plans on showing the WWE Universe more of what she can do in 2019. During an interview with Yahoo! Japan, Meiko stated that the level is completely different in WWE and she will cross the ocean to fight in America next year.

“The level is completely different, I want to be there, I feel I can not stay in Japan forever. When the opportunity arises, of course, I will cross the ocean to fight there next year.” She continued, “I want to have a challenge to challenge the new generation. If I win here it will be the perfect ending of a great year. After that I will give momentum to the WWE re-entry in 2019, continue fighting in Japan and aim for the top of the world."

Satomura was asked for her thoughts on the RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and Meiko stated that it is a realistic goal of hers to battle Ronda and that Ronda has a certain aura about her that no one else has.

“I had never seen a fighter who emitted such an aura,” she said. “I want to fight against her at the top. It's not a dream, it's a realistic goal.”
