Meiko Satomura conquered one boss and now she wants another.
On Thursday's episode of NXT UK, Satomura captured the NXT UK Women's Championship, defeating "The Final Boss" Kay Lee Rae. Ray had been NXT UK Women's Champion for 649 days before being dethroned by Satomura.
Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Satomura praised Ray and indicated who she would like to face next in WWE.
"She’s a true champion," Satomura said of Ray. "The young superstars have a very high skill and potential. [I’m] very happy to be in NXT UK. It’s a dream come true! First, I want to beat Kay Lee Ray. But next, Io Shirai, Sasha Banks and Charlotte [Flair]."
Banks has trained with Satomura in the past, crediting Satomura with helping her rediscover her passion for wrestling during her 2019 hiatus, and has been very open about her desire to wrestle the reigning NXT UK Women's Champion.
