Big E has earned a ticket to his first-ever World Championship opportunity.
The power of positivity has taken Big E all the way to the bank at Money in the Bank 2021 securing the victory with a big ending off the ladder to Seth Rollins, Big E was able to quickly make it up the ladder after a chaotic match to earn the Money in the Bank briefcase in his first-ever opportunity at it.
Now, Big E can choose to challenge either the WWE World Champion or the WWE Universal Champion at any time of his choosing for up to one year to potentially win his first WWE World Championship.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, E proclaimed that he wanted to bring new energy to the briefcase, noting that it is usually held by villains in WWE.
“If it’s my time to grab that briefcase, I will do everything in my power to make it unique and to make it different,” said Big E, whose name is Ettore Ewen. “It would be a new challenge, one that I would love to take on. I know we often see heels in that position, I would love to bring a whole new energy to this.”
He continued, “This is all new ground for me, and it’s such an exciting time. “There are going to be no regrets. I will do everything in my power to bring something special to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
