Mercedes Martinez is back in NXT.
Io Shirai wanted a piece of Toni Storm after being called out by the former NXT UK Women's Champion earlier in the show. She got a completely different monster as Mercedes Martinez returned to NXT to attack the NXT Women's Champion.
Martinez decimated Shirai, tossing her through the front of the announce table, standing tall to end the segment.
Martinez last appeared on NXT television at NXT Super Tuesday II on September 8, where she lost to Rhea Ripley in a Cage Match. After the bout, she split with the Robert Stone brand and was briefly part of RETRIBUTION as RETALIATION, before being dropped from the group.
