Mercedes Martinez Set For ACL Surgery On 10/15, GoFundMe Still Open

An update on Mercedes Martinez.
Back in August, Martinez suffered a torn ACL during a bout with Allie Katch. This match was a part of Martinez’s retirement tour, which was set to conclude at the end of 2026. With the injury, Mercedes has retired early.
Earlier this month, the former ROH Women’s World Champion published her GoFundMe page to social media, asking fans to help her soften the financial burden that she will take on as a result of her injury. With over $9,000 raised, Martinez now has enough to cover the down payment for the surgery, which she has scheduled for October 15.
Readers are still encouraged to donate to Martinez’s fund, which is still over $15K away from its goal.
Good news! ACL surgery is 10/15.
Enough to cover deposit, but not quite at full surgery cost.
1 month to go & ๐ to get the surgery fully paid.
TY for every donation/share. Truly humbled & grateful. โค๏ธ
