Mercedes Mone: Don't Call Me Mercedes Hogan, Call Me Mercedes Omega

The less Hogan, the better.

Since making her in-ring debut for the company in May 2024, Mercedes Mone has remained undefeated as a singles competitor in AEW. The winning streak has allowed Mone to keep the TBS Championship for 403 days (and counting).

As of late, there's been a trend of fans adding 'Hogan' to the end of a wrestler's name if they win a significant amount of their matches or if they're booked strongly on a consistent basis. This is obviously a reference to Hulk Hogan and his insistance to win the majority of matches throughout his career.

During a recent Instagram Live, Mercedes Mone responded to fans calling her Mercedes Hogan, saying that she prefers to be called Mercedes Omega instead.

Previously, Mone has also told fans to call her Mercedes Cena.

Mone competed in her 1000th match on AEW Dynamite 300. Check out the result of the match by clicking here.
