Mercedes Mone smacks Willow down on a Friday night.
Mercedes Mone appeared at the end of the May 24 AEW Rampage and she showed up on the Friday night show with intent to remind Willow Nightingale just who is the CEO of AEW's women's division.
After Nightingale and Kris Statlander defeated Alex Windsor and Anna Jay in tag team action, Mercedes hit the ring for the first time on Rampage to brawl with her opponent at AEW Double or Nothing. She nearly dropped Statlander with the Mone Maker but Statlander was saved by Nightingale who would brawl with Mercedes until they were separated by security.
Mercedes closed out the show by holding up the AEW TBS Championship. She will have the opportunity to win the belt officially at AEW Double or Nothing.
