Mercedes Moné Retains TBS Championship In Four-Way Match At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

The TBS Title remains in Moné’s possession.

The second title match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in London was a four-way match for the TBS Championship.

The bout saw Mercedes Moné put her title on the line against Alex Windsor, CMLL’s Persephone, and STARDOM’s Bozilla. Moné had a special entrance as the King’s Guard carried her other eight championships while she sported the TBS Title.

Moné went on to retain the belt by reversing Persephone’s Razor’s Edge into a pin.

On night one of Revolution Pro Wrestling’s 13 Year Anniversary weekend, Moné scored a victory over Emersyn Jayne, which won her the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship. Moné now has nine title belts in her possession.

Regarding Bozilla’s involvement, AEW President Tony Khan stated that Bozilla was his first choice for STARDOM representation at Forbidden Door.
