Mercedes Mone On Trinity's IMPACT Debut: She's About To Leave Her Opponents In The Rear View

Mercedes Mone says Trinity is here to make an impact.

Trinity Fatu, formerly known as Naomi and now going by Trinity, made her IMPACT Wrestling debut at the first night of the Spring Slugfest television tapings at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois, on April 28. The appearance marked Trinity's first wrestling event since she and Mone (then known as Sasha Banks) walked out of the May 16, 2022 episode of WWE RAW, and they ultimately left the company after they were suspended and stripped of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

In a tweet, Mone shared a picture of Trinity's IMPACT debut. She wrote that her former tag team partner would make an impact and leave her opponents in the rearview, which was a nod to Naomi's Rear View finisher in WWE.

IMPACT has confirmed that Trinity's debut will air on the May 4 episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Fightful will have live coverage of the show as it airs on Thursday.

Mone was also seen sitting in the crowd and cheering for Trinity at the tapings. Trinity previously went to NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4 to support Mone when she made her debut for the company.

In a tweet, Mone posted a picture in which she can be seen hugging Trinity, and she shared her support by saying she loves the IMPACT newcomer. Trinity responded by noting that she couldn't believe Mone was at the taping.

IMPACT subsequently announced that Fatu will face KiLynn King at the Spring Slugfest tapings on April 29. This bout will mark her in-ring debut for the company.

Trinity previously noted that reports about STARDOM passing on her due to cost were not true. More information is available here.
