Mercedes Mone Returns To AEW, Defeats Alex Windsor To Advance In Women’s Owen Hart Tournament
Mercedes Mone is back.
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured another first round match in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament, as Alex Windsor headed to the ring to battle a mystery Wild Card opponent.
That opponent turned out to be a returning Mercedes Mone, who has been absent from the company since December 2025. As expected, Mone went on to defeat Windsor via submission with her Statement Maker finisher.

With the win, Mone will face either Persephone or Hazuki in the second round of the tournament. Her opponent will be determined when both of those women face off on the June 6 episode of Collision.
