Mia Yim Says She Will Return To The Ring In March 2022

Mia Yim took the time to get her home life situated before jumping back into the squared circle.

Mia Yim was released by WWE back in November 2021. much like Karrion Kross and Keith Lee, she had a successful run on NXT before being brought to the main roster and not seeing much time in the ring. Mia was brought to the main roster in the summer of 2020 as part of RETRIBUTION. Taking on the name of "Reckoning," Mia only had a handful of matches before disappearing from television altogether.

It would later be reported that she was switched to the SmackDown brand but she was never used on television. She would also be drafted in the supplemental draft of 2021 just shortly before she was released.

Mia was allowed to return to the ring as of February 2, her new husband, Keith Lee, returned to the ring on February 9 for AEW. Now, Mia has revealed that she will return to the ring in March and explain why she took her time and did not return as soon as she could.

On Instagram, Mia revealed that she wanted to focus on her wedding and moving, before accepting bookings in the month of March.

To those wondering why I’m not back in the ring yet. February is a busy month. With the wedding and the move, I decided to not take any bookings until March to focus on getting everything handled at home first. So don’t worry, I’ll see you all in the ring in March. #HBIC
