Michael Cole Was Watching New York Mets Game While Calling WWE Bad Blood

WWE Bad Blood took place on October 5 in Atlanta, Georgia. As the event was going on, the New York Mets were taking on the Philadelphia Phillies in Game One of the NLDS.

Michael Cole is a lifelong Mets fan, and he wasn't going to miss out on the game.

"I have the game on, on my phone, at the announce desk at ringside, with the volume down. When I was doing Bad Blood, which was game one, I had the game on at the announce desk. My partner Corey Graves kept looking over at me and I was pumping my fist and jumping up and down while calling the action of the show," Cole told Sal Licata of WFAN.

The Mets won Game One and went on to win the series, advancing to the NLCS.

The Mets are currently down to Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 in the NLCS. Game Six of the series in on Sunday, October 20.
