Michael Elgin & Ace Austin Advance In IMPACT Title Top Contender Tourney, Fulton Leaves oVe

The semi-finals of the IMPACT Number One Contender's Tournament is set.

Ace Austin, who was a late replacement for Ken Shamrock, defeated Rhino in the first quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday's IMPACT. Austin jabbed Rhino with an illegal object before hitting him with The Fold to advance. Austin will now face Hernandez, who defeated Madman Fulton in the quarterfinals, in a semi-final matchup.

In the second quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday, Michael Elgin defeated Sami Callihan with a sitout powerbomb. Callihan came into the match with a banged-up ankle thanks to his Rebellion match against Ken Shamrock. Elgin now faces Trey in the semi-finals.

Both semi-final matches will take place next Tuesday on IMPACT.

In addition, Fulton left the OVE stable he's been a part of since he debuted in IMPACT. He scolded Dave Crist after losing a match to Crazzy Steve. He said that he was better than Jake and Dave Crist and left the group.
