Michael Hayes believes that Sasha Banks and Naomi’s walkout before a 2022 WWE RAW was ‘the wrong thing to do.’

Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE on May 16th of 2022 before that day’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, due to creative differences over their tag team championship booking, as they had been scheduled to face off in a multi-woman match for a title shot that night. A short while later, after a run in TNA in her own right, Naomi would return to WWE. Despite the reunion, one name inside WWE still believes it was the wrong call by Naomi.

While speaking during the second episode of season two of WWE: Unreal, Michael Hayes addressed Naomi’s walkout, noting that it was ‘the wrong thing to do’.

“I was very surprised and shocked that Trin decided to get up and walk out. That’s the wrong thing to do. That’s just the wrong thing to do. You work the show, and you work the show not because you don’t want to then. It’s for down the line when things cool off. and you go ‘phew. Glad I really didn’t burn that bridge’.”

Elsewhere in the same episode, Naomi also addressed the walkout, you can read more about that here.
