Michin And B-Fab Discuss Winning Their First Championships In WWE

Michin and B-Fab have finally secured gold in WWE.
In line with their recent winning streak, the duo of Michin and B-Fab were able to defeat Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley for the Women’s Tag Team Championships on the October 23 episode of WWE SmackDown.
In a new interview with Complex Graps, Michin talked about winning her first title in the company.
“It’s still surreal for me because I’ve been in WWE for almost a decade, but I’ve been wrestling for almost two decades now. I think growing up — being in WWE has always been my dream and of course when you hear somebody say, ‘Oh, I want to be in the NFL’ or ‘I want to be a movie star’, it’s like, okay, sure. Family and friends supported me, but it’s like, it’s good to have dreams but let’s be real. So, finally getting signed to WWE, that was the ceiling for me. There’s nothing else I could do. But then, I like to challenge myself and the next challenge was getting gold in WWE and because it took so long — understanding that one, being a babyface and doing things by the book and trying to be friends with everybody, it was difficult. No matter how hard I worked, I could split my face in the middle of the ring and I got [claps], then it was forgotten the next week. It was a dream to get gold in WWE, but as time went on I kinda accepted that maybe it wasn’t in the cards for me. But hey, I’m living my dream so I’m just going to be happy with that. Once again, aligning with B and Jade, it’s like, we actually may have a chance here. Now that we got Jade on our side, we really have a chance. It kind of reignited the fire of the new goal, of getting gold but also getting gold with B in this group. It’s surreal, man. We won it in my hometown, so I had family. My old next door neighbor was in the crowd. It was cool to like see my childhood out there, getting calls from my dad and my sister. It’s still surreal to this day.”
B-Fab followed that up with a similar message, detailing that her slow but “crazy” evolution in WWE.
“It’s definitely surreal, it hasn’t sunk in fully. I have those moments where I get emotional and it sinks in, but then I’m still kind of like, ‘Oh my gosh, this is crazy.’ For me, coming from managing, I was with Hit Row first and I was like managing them. Then went in to be with the Profits, doing some managing there. I finally was able to break off and wrestle on my own. I was like super happy to be able to do that and just happy about the growth. When I got put with Mia, I was like, okay cool. We have an actual tag team here, we can do more. All the evolution of everything was just really cool. Getting to transition from that spot of being in the manager position to being able to wrestle in the ring, it’s just crazy to see how everything has really just kept elevating from that spot.“
