Michin Says The More AJ Styles Pushes The OC Away, The More She Wants To Focus On Climbing The Ranks

Michin currently has all of her focus on trying to get AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson on the same page, but the more AJ Styles refuses to give her a hug, the more she is considering refocusing completely on her own career.

Michin (Mia Yim) was brought back to WWE to be a part of The OC with AJ Styles and The Good Brothers. When AJ Styles returned from injury at the end of 2023, he was noticeably more distant from his stablemates. Each week, Michin tries to excitedly hug AJ Styles, but he has consistently given her the cold shoulder.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo on the red carpet during the premiere of Hulu's "Love & WWE" reality show, Michin says that she's still dedicated to the boys and making sure that the family stays united, but she does also have her own goals that she wants to accomplish in WWE. Specifically, she wants to climb back through the ranks and earn another opportunity at the WWE Women's Championship.

"I would definitely love to climb up the ranks. I know I just had a championship match with IYO SKY and as of now, with my focus [on] the boys and trying to make sure the family stick together — that's where my priority is right now. However, the more that AJ don't wanna hug me, the more I'm trying to focus on the girls. At the end of the day, I might have to focus on myself, but I got to stick with family."

In the past, Michin has stated that AJ Styles is just going through his evil ways. Read her comments on AJ's recent change in attitude here.
