Mick Foley Addresses Individuals Who Stole Shirt At His Stage Show After Placing Bid

Mick Foley is in the United Kingdom for the final stops of his ’40 Years of Foley’ tour, during which he is doing stage shows.
At every show, Foley auctions off the shirt(s) he’s wearing, and the money goes to the Cauliflower Alley Club’s fund for wrestlers in need. At Foley’s show in Birmingham, England, two men placed a bid, and when it came time to pay, they took off with the signed shirts.
Foley took to Instagram to address the individuals:
“Hello everybody. It’s the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley. En route to Cardiff, Wales, following one of my favorite shows I’ve ever done, and it was in Birmingham, U.K., where we had an unfortunate incident, that showed both the worst that mankind — not the wrestler — but the people have to offer. But also the best. As many of you know, I do a nightly shirt-off-my-back auction for Cauliflower Alley Club that has raised more than $40,000 for wrestlers in need and last night I was thrilled to get a winning bid of £900… That’s over a thousand dollars in U.S. money. Took photos with these guys, thanked them thoroughly, signed both the t-shirt I was wearing and the outer shirt, and then they ran. They ran. They did a runner. Took off without paying. Three or four other people came forward with donations so that all in all, we were able to donate $600 to the Cauliflower Alley Club. But I’d like to address those two guys who chose to run. You know who you are. We know who you are and we’re going to give you a couple of days to do the right thing. At the very least, you return the shirt. It would be really nice if you made a donation. I don’t expect £900; that’s a lot of money. Maybe you guys shouldn’t do that when you’re drinking. Maybe you shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep but if you don’t do something, some small way of atoning, not only will you know who you are and not only will I know who you are, but a lot of people will know who you are because there were cameras everywhere.”
Foley is signed to All Elite Wrestling and on August 30th, the company is presenting the All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
