Professional wrestlers who have made it to the top of the industry tend to reach a sizeable amount of fame, leading to the ever present task of signing items for fans.

While speaking to Stream Punk Cinema in a new interview, Mick Foley was asked about the strangest thing he’s been asked to sign, noting that a two man kayak was probably the strangest before discussing signing prosthetic limbs.

“I’d say a two-man kayak is probably the strangest. At one point, and this is not meant to be funny, but at one point, signing a prosthetic leg was the strangest thing. But I’ve probably signed a hundred of them now. We’ve got a lot more of our young men and women who come back from service without prosthetics body parts, and I’m always very happy, very proud to sign one of those prosthetic limbs. So something that seemed really strange became something I thought was- best case scenario, no one loses a limb. But if they’ve got a prosthetic leg and they want me to sign it, I’d be happy to do it.”

Foley is set to feature as part of an upcoming A24 Deathmatch documentary. You can read more about that here.
