Mick Foley: I Marvel When I See Chris Hero Working With A Talent, He Is A Wrestling Genius

Mick Foley addresses if he will ever try to get into producing and agenting matches, praising Chris Hero’s ability to do so in the industry.

Hero is a legend on the independent wrestling scene and although he spent time in WWE, he is far more known for his escapades outside of the company and has been tied down to AEW as a coach and producer in recent years.

While speaking to Wrestling On The Spectrum in a new interview, Mick Foley was asked about potentially producing or agenting matches in AEW, with Foley having praise for Chris Hero’s abilities in the role.

“No, no, I have not. I know they’ve got great people doing that. I marvel when I see Chris Hero working with talent, and I even said to a friend of mine, I said, ‘now, that guy there, like, you might not be able to tell, he is a wrestling genius; and just a guy who will text me out of nowhere and ask me about a long forgotten match I had, you know, 30 years ago. So I don’t think I could be an effective agent or producer. So I haven’t given that a lot of thought.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Foley spoke about his segment with MJF back at AEW Double Or Nothing. You can read more about that here.
