Mick Foley says that he was ‘really proud’ of the promo he did with MJF at AEW Double Or Nothing earlier this year.

Foley would make his first appearances for AEW earlier this year at AEW Double Or Nothing, and would share the ring with MJF on the pre-show of the event, with the pair going back and forth on the microphone before Max would kick Mick in the dick, bringing out Darby Allin to make the save.

While speaking to Wrestling On The Spectrum in a new interview, Mick Foley spoke about what hats he wears in AEW and what he is most proud of so far in the company.

“Well, you mentioned a pre-show analyst for the pay-per-views. I was really proud of the promo I did with MJF. I know there was some concern that know fans were really going to cheer MJF in New York and I think the interview was really effective in that way, and I’ve done some backstage things and I’ve done some in-ring interviews. I think I’d be really effective at promotion. You know, so many of the people in the media now grew up as fans of the Attitude Era, and maybe I can open doors in the same way that Paul Wight was (doing) in Poland a few weeks ago doing promotion for AEW. I’m open to anything and just about everything they could throw at me.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Foley spoke about how big of a cut to his pay he took when he didn’t sign a new legends deal with the company. You can read more about that here.
