Mick Foley Says He’s Walking Better Than He Was 15 Years Ago

Like any wrestler, Mick Foley put his body on the line every time he went to the ring. Foley was known for taking some of the most dangerous bumps in wrestling, going knees first into the steps on a regular basis, jumping off the apron and onto the concrete floor, and famously being launched off Hell in a Cell.
Speaking to Kayfabe Friends, Foley was simply asked how he’s doing in regard to his health.
“Not too bad, all things considered. I don’t have to wonder, when I wake up, what I did for a living. I’m sore, but I’m not as sore as I thought I’d be. I’m actually, thanks to the hip and knee replacement, I did lose 99 pounds. I gained some of it back, but I’m still walking better than I was 15 years ago. I actually, once in a while, pass people in the airport. I’m doing better than I thought I’d be doing,” he said.
Elsewhere during the interview, Foley revealed a character that never came to fruition. You can find his pitch here.
