Mickie James: Getting The Opportunity To Go To TNA Made Me Almost Fall In Love With Wrestling All Over Again

Mickie James talks going to TNA.

In September of 2010, Mickie would return to TNA after a short run in the early 2000’s, and once again returned to the company after her second run in WWE when she signed with them once again in 2021. James is now set to be inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame, and for Mickie, she became her most authentic self in a TNA ring.

In a new interview with WrestlingNewsCo, Mickie James spoke about heading to TNA, noting that she almost fell in love with wrestling all over again as a result.

“To get this opportunity to go to TNA, I don’t even think I recognized how awesome it was gonna be until I got there, and I was able to create and be probably my most authentic self in the wrestling ring than I’d ever been… it almost reminded me of how much I love wrestling and why I love wrestling… It made me almost fall in love with wrestling all over again, and a whole new journey.”
