Mickie James: “I Think What I Was Able To Accomplish With The Last Rodeo Solidified Me”

Mickie James looks back on The Last Rodeo.

As Mickie James was appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, she dove into her last run in TNA Wrestling, which was billed as ‘The Last Rodeo.’

James held the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship from January 2023 until April of that year. She shared that ‘The Last Rodeo’ solidified her career, and she feels fulfilled.

“I think what I was able to accomplish with The Last Rodeo solidified me. It validated me. It vindicated me. My first WWE run, I was able to have some amazing moments, but I think it was cut short. I think I had a lot more to do in WWE and the timing and my own life, and professionally and personally, I needed to go away, I think.”

James’ last documented match was over the summer. She wrestled for an independent promotion in France and won their Women’s Championship.
