MICKIE JAMES TALKS “TRASH GATE”!
**** Six-time WWE women’s champion discusses her departure from WWE and the details surrounding the return of her belongings in Part 2 of historic 50th episode of GAW TV ****

NASHVILLE – WWE star Mickie James opens up with unfiltered comments discussing the controversy over the return of her belongings and her release from World Wrestling Entertainment on the epic conclusion of Grown Ass Women (GAW) TV’s 50th episode, which will debut on the GAWTV YouTube channel on Wednesday, April 28, at 5 p.m. ET.

“I just thought it was time to open up and be real and speak from the heart about everything,” said James, a former six-time WWE Women’s Champion and country music recording artist. James was released from World Wrestling Entertainment on April 12, the day after the company’s annual signature event, WrestleMania. A few days later, in the wake of the company announcing first-quarter record breaking profits, all of James’ belongings were shipped to her in a plastic garbage bag with her name taped to it. She posted about the incident on social media and the topic was trending for 24 hours.

“Honestly, I didn’t do it for that reason and I never expected the outrage. There’s so much that people don’t know about behind the scenes and how things are handled. It wasn’t just about this one incident, but I think it’s important to address it, and I wanted to address it with my fans first on GAW TV.”

- Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Trey Miguel spoke about his happiness for the success of Nash Carter and Wes Lee in NXT:

“I called them that morning and said, ‘I know you’re taking home the belts,’” says Miguel, whose name is Trey McBrayer. “And when they did, I texted and said, ‘I told you!’ I’m so happy for them. I was never upset about those two sticking together. That’s the way it was before Impact.

“I’m grateful I had the chance to work with my two best friends. They deserve all their success. The only thing I need to remind myself is that they have new names now.”

Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew a final rating of 0.54 in the 18–49 demographic and 2.121 million viewers

- Speaking with WrestleZone, Dak Draper of Ring of Honor explains why he believes he is a Swiss Army chainsaw.

“This gives me new life there, it gives me a new chance to try and pull my way back up to that. And the TV division, it has louder characters. If you look at guys in the Television division, you have guys like Brian Johnson, even Dragon Lee, he’s an in-your-face guy. You have Danhausen, it’s a lot more, I would say, it’s a lot more maybe eccentric than the Pure division. And I think I’m a guy that I’ve shown that I can go in the Pure division, I can go with these guys that are the best technical wrestlers in the world. But I can also go and be entertaining with these guys that are some of the most entertaining wrestlers in the world, so I’m excited to continue to show that I’m almost like a Swiss Army knife. Maybe like a Swiss army chainsaw, a little nicer than a knife.”
