Mickie James became the first woman to win an IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view main event at IMPACT Hard to Kill 2022. Now, she looks to make history again in the main event of Hard to Kill 2023.
On Thursday, January 12, 2023, it was announced that Mickie James and Jordynne Grace's Title vs. Career bout would headline the January 13 pay-per-view event. Grace will be defending for IMPACT Knockouts Championship while James' career will be on the line.
It was also revealed that the IMPACT World Title bout between champion Josh Alexander and challenger Bully Ray will open IMPACT Hard To Kill. The two men will clash in a Full Metal Mayhem bout.
