Mike Bailey: I’ve Been Sticking My Bare Feet In Faces For 23 Years
“Speedball” Mike Bailey discusses proper toenail clipping etiquette.
Mike Bailey wrestles barefoot. In this way, he follows in the footsteps, pun intended, of wrestlers like Kevin Von Erich and legendary Samoan wrestlers such as Afa and Sika, the Wild Samoans. However, nobody talks about toenail clipping etiquette when interviewing barefoot wrestlers.
This topic arises in a new interview, where Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp discusses proper toenail care during his conversation with Mike Bailey.
“I’m confident in my own ability to handle them. I trim them. I keep them nice and not sharp. I’m not a mani-pedi guy. You know what? I’ve never had a pedicure, which is shocking. You know what? I think that’s a good vlog idea of me getting a pedicure,” said Bailey.
“It’s never really been an issue, never really been a thing. If you’re mindful about it and take care of it regularly, which I have, I’ve been doing Taekwondo since I was 12 years old. Sticking my bare feet in people’s faces has been a thing I’ve been doing for 23 years at this point.”
There you have it, folks. Mike Bailey has been sticking his bare feet in people’s faces for over two decades. As such, he is confident in his toenail care. Fans can check out his vlogs here.
Mike Bailey is the subject of a new wrestling documentary called Keep It Kayfabe. The world premiere of Keep It Kayfabe will take place on Thursday, July 24, at San Diego Comic Con. There will also be a Q&A session with Mike Bailey.
