Mike ‘Cash Flo’ Walden Reflects On Tulsa King Role, Getting Compliments From Sylvester Stallone

Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone on Paramount+, is in its third season. The series, which features Stallone and his daughter, also features professional wrestler Mike Walden, also known as Cash Flo.

During a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Walden discussed how his appearance on Netflix’s The Wrestlers opened more doors for him in Hollywood and reflected on receiving massive compliments from the man who portrayed Rocky Balboa and Rambo.

“The Wrestlers on Netflix, it really opened some doors for me. It initially was in wrestling, but then a year later, my agent sends me an email says, ‘Casting would like for you to read for this role,’ and it happened to be Tulsa King. Of course, I get a phone call from Sylvester Stallone and it was pretty surreal, Sean. I don’t know how else to put it. It was amazing and it’s been a rush ever since. It’s been a pleasure to learn from one of the greatest and all the other guys that have come through there. It’s been amazing.

“I thought he was talking some junk. I thought, like, ‘Come on, you don’t have to blow smoke.’ I said, ‘You already got me. You don’t have to blow smoke,’ but he was very adamant about, ‘You’re amazing. You have this look.’ He really made me feel like, ‘Shoot, I’m a star.’ He really made me feel like that. It’s been amazing. Yeah, coming up Rocky / Rambo, man, it’s crazy.”
