Mike and Maria Kanellis are on the free agent market.
The WWE round of cuts directly affected Mike Bennett, known to WWE fans as Mike Kanellis. His wife, Maria Kanellis, was also let go after neither had been featured on TV regularly for months since their WWE 24/7 Title program. WWE issued a major series of releases in a cost-cutting measure related to COVID-19
Mike Kanellis posted a video on Twitter saying that the duo didn't see it coming. He put over how hard the roster worked, and the people that he worked with. He also thanked the McMahon family and Triple H.

Mike had asked for his release multiple times in the past, including before and after the two signed huge contract extensions last year that would have seen them with the company into 2024. Maria had a child recently, and Mike noted that their doctor's appointment for the child today showed he was in good health.
Bennett and Maria were fixtures in Ring of Honor, specifically tied to perennial main eventer Matt Taven as a part of Decade.
