Mike Rotunda On Potential WWE Return: Not In This Lifetime

Mike Rotunda has no plans to return to WWE.

Rotunda wrapped up his full-time wrestling career in 2004, but has made sporadic appearances on WWE TV and worked as a producer in WWE until 2020.

During a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, Rotunda was asked if he would ever return to WWE.

"Not in this lifetime. I'm pretty much burned out. 40 years is enough. Between wrestling...23 wrestling and 13 producing. It just felt like 40 years," he said.

Later during the signing, Rotunda was asked how he's feeling phsyically. He replied, "I had my left hip replaced and I really need to get my right hip and right knee replaced. You get beat up."

Rotunda noted that he's good with doing conventions and signings because he's not getting tossed on his head.

Rotunda's son Bray Wyatt is currently signed to WWE, but hasn't been on television since before WrestleMania 39.

On July 10, Fightful Select reported that Wyatt had not been cleared for a return. He is reportedly out of action with an illness that prevented him from getting cleared for in-ring action.
