Mike Santana Reacts To WWE NXT Appearance: Sh*t Just Got Real

Mike Santana has reacted to his WWE NXT appearance on last night’s episode, noting that ‘shit just got real’ after staring down Tony D’Angelo.

Throughout TNA’s partnership with WWE, talents have come and gone in both directions, including contracted talents making crossover appearances. While he was under TNA contract, Santana would make several appearances on WWE NXT, but his appearance on yesterday’s NXT was different than those previously. Prior to Tuesday, Santana was a free agent and now appears to have signed with WWE full time, landing on the developmental brand for the time being. Santana would appear on last night’s show and stare down current champion Tony D’Angelo.

In a new social media post in the aftermath of his appearance on WWE NXT, Mike Santana kept it short and sweet, noting that ‘shit just got real.’ Santana would include a video of his appearance, as it seems he will immediately be aiming to go after the WWE NXT Championship following his two reigns as TNA World Champion.

After dropping the TNA World Title at Slammiversary, TNA went on to remove Santana from their roster page. He had been back with the promotion since 2024.
