Mina Shirakawa Wants A Singles Match With Mercedes Mone In AEW

Mina Shirakawa wants to wrestle Mercedes Mone in a singles match in the US.

Mina Shirakawa is headed to AEW as she looks to transition into wrestling in the United States full-time. She recently competed in the states for New Japan Pro-Wrestling at NJPW Resurgence. She wrestled Mercedes Mone and AZM for the NJPW STRONG Women's Openweight Title at that event. She did not come out the winner of that match. AZM did. However, following the match, she and Mercedes would fight all the way backstage, leaving the new champion in the ring to celebrate.

Also following the match, she was interviewed by Denise Salcedo. When asked about wanting her paths to cross with Mercedes in the United States, Shirakawa admitted that that is something she wants and she wants a shot some gold in the United States as well.

"Me and Mercedes, our single match was only in Japan, so I want to wrestle again in AEW, we should. So I could not join the [Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup] Tournament. I was still in STARDOM... I want to challenge for the belt."
