Minoru Suzuki Wins The RPW British Heavyweight Championship

Suzuki is running wild.

Today, Revolution Pro Wrestling presented their event entitled 'Strong Style Evolved U.K.' featuring some of the top international talents including wrestlers from NJPW. On the match card, two men who are quite familiar with one another and have been for some time--Tomohiro Ishii and Minoru Suzuki did battle over the RPW British Heavyweight Championship.

Ishii captured the title in early April at RevPro's WrestleCon show where he bested Minoru's 'Suzuki-Gun' stablemate Zack Sabre Jr. to end Sabre Jr.'s three-hundred plus-day reign as champion. Today, Suzuki got revenge for the man who he shares the Undisputed British Tag Team Championships with as Suzuki had his sights set on getting ahold of the top prize in RevPro.

Those in attendance described the match on social media as one of the most hard-hitting bouts that they've ever see and that Suzuki and Ishii took each other past the limit but in the end Minoru Suzuki was able to pull out the victory and is now the new RPW British Heavyweight Champion. Minoru is now also the second member of 'Suzuki-Gun' to hold the RPW British Heavyweight and Undisputed British Tag Team Championships at the same time and the other individual who has done that as mentioned is 'Suzuki-Gun's' own Zack Sabre Jr.
