Miro Talks His First Impressions Of Tony Khan, Says AEW Is 'Destroying NXT'

The big surprise of the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite was the debut of Miro, formerly Rusev of the WWE. Now, Miro is opening up about how things came together and his feelings towards his new boss, Tony Khan.

“I’m just excited to have the opportunity,” said Miro in a new YouTube video. “I’m thankful to Tony Khan that we got in contact when he got in contact, everything was fine. He's such a good dude, he’s such a great owner, and he’s very open to talk to with creative ideas and everything. He's around everybody, it’s not like he’s hiding. His energy is definitely great, and he just wants the best.”

He continued, “We all have the same agenda. We all want AEW to succeed. We're all in agreement that we're already doing great, and destroying NXT and all that, but now, we’re up for the big prize, and I knew that they were going to get there anyways, but I’m just glad along and join the joy ride.”

The video, which you can see above, goes on to break down Miro’s top dollar attire from his Dynamite debut and much more.
