Mistico Open To Dual Contract With AEW Or MLW While Staying In CMLL

Mistico is open to signing a dual contract with either MLW or AEW.

Mistico is one of the most legendary Luchadores of his generation. He’s currently having the most success in CMLL. He also wrestles in the United States on occasion for Major League Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling. He had a stint in the United States with WWE as the original Sin Cara, but that experience wasn’t as fruitful as he had hoped.

Now, he says that he would be open to signing a dual contract to work in CMLL and either AEW or MLW. He recently shared his viewpoint on the matter during an interview with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone.

“I’m looking for an opportunity in any promotion in the world. If I receive an opportunity, I will take it. I proved that I love Lucha Libre. It doesn’t matter if it’s in Mexico, London, or Japan. I think that I’ve shown what I’m made of, and now I think it’s time to look for new things,” he explained.

“If I have an opportunity for a championship in an American company, I’m going to do it in AEW and MLW with all the pleasure of the world,” Mistico said. “Like other teammates who have a wonderful double contract, I would like to have that kind of contract. Or also to have new rivalries with other superstars. So I’m looking for new opportunities and new challenges in my career.”

In some cases, wrestlers even work three promotions. Konosuke Takeshita has deals with AEW, NJPW, and DDT.
