Thunder Rosa has a new challenger.
At TJPW Summer Sun Princess on July 9, Miyu Yamashita defeated Thunder Rosa in singles competition. Before the bout, Rosa stated that if Yamashita won, she would give her a shot at the AEW Women's Championship when Yamashita came to the United States.
The finish saw Yamashita reverse an inside cradle, capturing Rosa for the three count.
With Yamashita winning, Rosa stuck to her deal, shaking hands with Yamashita and agreeing to a future AEW Women's Title bout.
It is unknown when Yamashita will get her crack at the AEW Women's Championship.
