Tempers are flaring between The Miz and Baron Corbin heading into their Survivor Series match.
The two have posted back and forth promos this week, with the Miz’s in particular being quite scathing.
It started the night following the big Raw angle where Smackdown took Raw “Under Siege”. United States champion Corbin posted a video on his Twitter account running down Miz. He told him that he was going back to the number one show, Smackdown, to continue to do what he does best, run over people. He told Miz that he had some advice for him: at Survivor Series, stay home and play dress up with your wife.
A few hours ago, Intercontinental champion The Miz posted his reply to the promo while traveling. He said that his goal isn’t to represent Raw at Survivor Series but to make the Intercontinental title the most prestigious title in the company. He called Corbin a “generic big man who will be gone in two years” while he is going to carry this show (Raw) for the next ten. He also threatened Corbin, saying that if he ever talked about his pregnant wife (Maryse) again, he’ll “knock his f*cking teeth down his throat”.
The two are slated to meet in a battle of the second tier champions at Survivor Series on November 19 in Houston, Texas.
