After what was already a hellacious Elimination Chamber match, Bobby Lashley attacked WWE Champion Drew McIntyre laying him out with a spear and a full nelson slam allowing the opening that The Miz has been waiting ten years for.

The Miz immediately cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and became a two-time WWE Champion. The Miz has also become the first Money in the Bank winner to cash in the briefcase on two separate occasions that are over a decade apart. He is also the only WWE Champion in history to have both of his title wins come from Money in the Bank cash-ins.

Earlier in the evening, The Miz was slapped by WWE 24/7 Champion, Bad Bunny. However, Miz is now moving on as he heads down The Road to WrestleMania as WWE Champion.

As of right now, it is unknown who will be in the WWE championship match at WrestleMania, but we do know the WWE Universal Championship match. At WWE Elimination Chamber, Edge officially declared that he would be challenging Roman Reigns for the top title on Friday Night SmackDown during one of the two nights of WrestleMania 37.
