The Miz Expected Bad Bunny To Be Booed At WrestleMania 37, Says Twitter Was Wrong

The Miz had one of the most memorable matches at WrestleMania 37 as he teamed with John Morrison to battle Bad Bunny & Damian Priest.

In the lead up to the match, Bunny was universally praised for putting in the work at the WWE Performance Center and taking the bout seriously while still juggling his responsibilities as a Grammy-winning recording artist.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on Out of Character, The Miz recalled his WrestleMania bout and revealed when he found out about his live performance of "Hey Hey Hop Hop."

"We had no idea we were singing the rap song that day. We found out that day. 'Hey, you're going to perform.' 'What?' I think we rehearsed like three times. John and I are backstage just rapping the song. We don't know what's going to happen with the audience being there. We couldn't even hear ourselves because the crowd was so loud. It was fun and exciting. The crowd booed us. When Bad Bunny came out, I was expecting [him to be] booed out of the building because that's what happens with celebrities, but it didn't happen. He got cheered and it goes to show you that Twitter was wrong," said Miz.

Following the bout, more praise was aimed Bad Bunny's way with Randy Orton calling him an official WWE superstar. You can find Orton's full comments by clicking here.
