The Miz speaks out about R-Truth's departure from WWE.
On June 1, R-Truth shocked the wrestling world by announcing his upcoming departure from WWE, revealing that he'll be exiting the promotion when his contract expires.
As is the case with most releases and/or departures, this news was met with outrage, with many of the company's stars even paying tribute to the former multi-time champion.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, The Miz talked about Truth's departure, saying that he's sad to see that it happened. In the end, Miz still thinks that Truth will land on his feet.
"Obviously, I was in a tag team with R-Truth, so it’s always sad to see something like that happen. But I think Truth will bounce on his feet. He’s a hell of a talented superstar."
