The Miz: If John Morrison Isn't Competing For A World Championship Next Year, Something's Missing In WWE

The Miz wants to see John Morrison reach the pinnacle of WWE.

John Morrison spent many years outside of WWE on the top of every card he was on but still has yet to compete for a World Championship in WWE upon returning.

Since coming back, John Morrison has been in only one major storyline. He rekindled his tag team with The Miz immediately upon returning to WWE and has been paired with the former WWE Champion ever since.

Morrison even took a brief back step as far as tag team duties are concerned when The Miz captured the Money in the Bank briefcase and eventually WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre earlier this year.

Now, speaking with Forbes, The Miz says that he doesn't see himself separating from John Morrison for a long time and that if Morrison is not at the top of the card by this time next year, something is not right in WWE.

“I don’t see myself and John Morrison splitting up for a very long time, if ever,” said The Miz. “I don’t see that happening. We’re too connected, we have too much chemistry and we still have more to go. John pushes me more than anybody else in WWE. Right now, he is just absolutely incredible, he is on a tear, and I think if he’s not in the main event scene going for the WWE or Universal Championship in the next year I think this is something we’re missing in WWE.”

Unfortunately, The Miz has reportedly suffered the first injury of his entire career. It is reported that the father of two tore his ACL recently. Learn more here.
